Half card game, half board game. You play a card from your hand and drop a chip on the matching square on the board, and five chips in a row is a sequence. Two sequences and your team wins. Simple enough that dadi picks it up in one round, but the real game is watching the other team get four in a row and blocking them right before they close it.

An American game from 1982 that's quietly become very popular across India and among desi families abroad, which is how it reached us. It handles up to 12 players, and almost nothing else does that. Copies do turn up here but usually thin boards with chips that slide around.
